The franchisor offers an extensive training program to franchisees, covering crucial aspects necessary for the successful operation of the franchise. The training program includes the following components:
Initial Training Program
Franchisees, along with their Designated Manager and one additional person, must complete the Initial Training Program before starting operations. This program covers various franchise operations, including sales, marketing, production, and management, and combines both classroom instruction and on-the-job training within the franchise's territory or location.
Additional and Refresher Training
The franchisor may provide additional and refresher training courses to enhance the skills and knowledge of franchisees, their Designated Manager, and other SN Specialists. These courses ensure franchisees remain updated with the latest operational practices and may include up to two sessions per year, totaling no more than seven days.
Remedial Training
If needed, the franchisor may require franchisees to attend up to five days of remedial training. This is necessary if the franchisee or required personnel do not successfully complete the Initial Training Program or any Additional Training, or if the franchisee fails to operate the franchise according to the Franchise Agreement after receiving written notice of such failure.
Third-Party Training
Franchisees may also need to attend training programs conducted by approved suppliers. These programs provide further instruction on franchise operations and specific approved services. Franchisees are responsible for the costs and expenses associated with such third-party training, including the Additional Training Fee, lodging, and travel.
The franchisor does not provide exclusive territory rights. As a franchisee, you may encounter competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, or other distribution channels or competitive brands managed by the franchisor.
The franchisor agrees not to establish another business using the proprietary marks and system within your designated territory, provided you adhere to the Franchise Agreement. However, the franchisor retains the right to create alternate distribution channels selling similar services and products, including through e-commerce, the Internet, mail order, or catalogs.
Under certain conditions, you can serve customers from outside your designated territory, as long as these customers do not reside within another franchisee's territory unless you have that franchisee's consent. Additionally, you are not allowed to solicit or advertise within another franchisee's territory without their approval.
