Training

Attendees must demonstrate competence and pass assessments.
2. Opening Assistance
   Franchisees receive 50 to 60 hours of virtual opening assistance, provided through weekly phone or video calls. This training focuses on reinforcing the topics covered in the initial training program.
3. Contractor's License Assistance
   Painter Bros offers optional one-day training to assist franchisees in obtaining a contractor's license. This training has an associated fee and requires advance scheduling.
4. Additional Training
   Depending on availability and written notice, additional training sessions are offered to franchisees. These sessions may cover topics like management or motivational training for staff. Painter Bros retains discretion over the format and length of these sessions.

Territory Protection

Painter Bros offers its franchisees non-exclusive territories with defined geographic boundaries. Each territory comprises ZIP codes and has a minimum population requirement of 250,000 people per territory.

The franchise agreement includes written boundaries for each franchisee's territory, which are determined and documented before the agreement is finalized.

While franchisees are granted specific territories, these are not exclusive in the strictest sense. Painter Bros reserves the right to establish company-owned units or license other franchises outside the defined boundaries of a given territory.
