Training

The franchisor offers extensive training to franchisees, covering all key aspects of running the franchise. The training program includes:

Initial Training: This starts with a 1-2 day session at the corporate offices or another specified location, introducing the franchise system, software, business development strategies, operational procedures, and marketing plans. Following this, franchisees undergo a 1-2 day practical application session with an assigned mentor in the mentor's territory.

Franchisee Mentor Program: After the initial training, franchisees collaborate with a mentor to complete a training program checklist, receiving remote support via phone and email. About 4-6 weeks after beginning operations, the mentor provides an additional 2 days of on-site training in the franchisee's territory.

Refresher Training and Seminars: Periodically, the franchisor offers refresher courses and seminars, which franchisees or their managers must attend. These sessions focus on updating skills and knowledge with the latest operational practices and standards.

Supplemental Training: Franchisees can request additional training at the headquarters or other locations, covering advanced topics or specific areas of interest. This customizable training is available at the franchisee's expense.

On-site Training and Supervision: The franchisor may also provide further on-site training and supervision in the franchisee's territory to ensure the franchise operation adheres to required standards and practices.

Territory Protection

The franchisor does not guarantee exclusive territory protection to its franchisees. Franchisees are not assigned exclusive territories and may encounter competition from other franchisees, franchisor-owned outlets, or other distribution channels or competitive brands managed by the franchisor.

Franchisees are strictly prohibited from providing painting or related services outside their designated Franchise Territory without prior written consent from the franchisor.

While the franchisor has occasionally offered limited territorial protections, franchisees typically cannot operate in territories assigned to another Painter1 franchisee who has been granted such protections. To operate outside their designated state boundaries or Franchise Territory, franchisees must obtain prior written consent from the franchisor and sign a separate franchise agreement for the new territory.
