Training 

Initial Training

  • Participants: The franchisee (or principal owner) and the Manager are required to attend.
  • Completion: Successful completion of the training to the franchisor's satisfaction is mandatory before opening the business.
  • Deadline: Training must be completed within three months of the agreement's effective date.
  • Fees: Training is free for up to two individuals, but the franchisee is responsible for transportation, lodging, meals, and incidental expenses.
  • Requirement: The business must always be managed by someone who has completed this training program.
  • Flexibility: The franchisor may waive parts of the training at their discretion.

No Exclusive Territory: Franchisees are not granted exclusive territories. They may encounter competition from other franchisees, franchisor-owned outlets, or other distribution channels or competitive brands managed by the franchisor.

Territorial Protection: Under specific conditions, the franchisor commits not to establish or authorize others to establish and operate a business providing system services to residential or "light commercial" customers within the protected territory using the franchisor’s marks or system. This protection excludes actual or prospective customers designated as National Accounts.
