Deka Lash: A Leader in Eyelash Extensions

Deka Lash is a burgeoning franchise that has established a strong presence in the beauty industry by focusing on eyelash extensions and related services. Established in 2011 and headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Deka Lash began offering franchise opportunities soon after its launch, allowing entrepreneurs to join a brand dedicated to enhancing the beauty of its clients' eyes.

Customers at Deka Lash can choose from a variety of eyelash extension services, including classic, volume, and hybrid lashes, all provided by skilled lash artists. What distinguishes Deka Lash from its competitors is its unwavering commitment to quality, precision, and personalized service. Each lash application is customized to fit the client's unique eye shape and desired aesthetic, ensuring that every customer departs with beautiful, long-lasting lashes.

Training

The Deka Lash franchise delivers an extensive training program designed to equip franchisees with the essential knowledge and skills for successful franchise operation. Below is an overview of the training provided:

Initial Training Program Deka Lash offers a four-day initial training program, available in both virtual and in-person formats. The Operations Onboarding & First Studio Opening Support Fee, paid upon purchase, covers the costs for the owners listed in the Franchise Agreement (up to two attendees). Additional participants can attend for a fee of $1,500 per person. Franchisees are responsible for their own travel, lodging, transportation, meal expenses, and employees' wages during this initial training.

Site Selection Assistance The franchisor aids in selecting a suitable location by providing site selection criteria, guidelines, and expert counseling.

Operational Support Franchisees receive continuous support to address any operational challenges and issues that may arise while managing their business.

Additional Training or Seminars Deka Lash may offer extra training sessions or seminars, which franchisees can attend either in-person or online, to further enhance their operational knowledge and skills.

Territory Protection

The Deka Lash franchise provides its franchisees with territory protection under specific guidelines. Franchisees receive a "Protected Area," generally encompassing a 1.5-mile radius around their business location. However, the size of this Protected Area may vary in densely populated regions.

Within this designated area, the franchisor agrees not to establish any company-owned or franchised outlets offering similar products or services. It is important to note that this territorial exclusivity does not apply to marketing efforts, as these activities are not restricted by geographical boundaries.

Furthermore, when franchisees suggest a new location, the franchisor grants a temporary protected radius around the proposed site for up to 60 days to aid in lease negotiations. This arrangement provides franchisees with a degree of territorial exclusivity to prevent nearby competing outlets, while allowing flexibility in marketing and other franchisor operations within the territory.
