Training

SpeedPro provides comprehensive training to its franchisees to ensure they are well-prepared to operate their studios effectively. The training encompasses several programs:

  1. Initial Training Program: This mandatory program takes place at SpeedPro's headquarters in Centennial, Colorado, or another designated location. It includes in-person or virtual sessions, where owners and their control persons learn key aspects of running a SpeedPro Studio. Virtual training uses platforms like Ring Central for interactive learning.
  2. Production Training: This involves practical, hands-on training conducted at a high-production SpeedPro Studio or at the franchisee's own studio after equipment delivery. It ensures franchisees are proficient in operational tasks.
  3. Business Training for Transfer Franchisees: If a studio is purchased from another franchisee, the new owner and their control person must attend a specialized business training program. This program, totaling approximately 62 hours, covers orientation, financial management, sales, marketing, and product-specific training.
  4. Ongoing Training and Refresher Courses: SpeedPro offers continuous training programs at various locations or virtually, addressing updates in operational systems, sales strategies, and marketing techniques. Periodic retraining may also be required, with costs borne by the franchisee.
  5. Annual Conventions and Meetings: Franchisees are required to attend conventions and meetings to stay updated on new services, procedures, and system-wide changes. These events focus on enhancing studio management, sales, and marketing skills.

Territory Protection

SpeedPro provides limited territorial protection to franchisees, ensuring exclusivity within a designated area as long as all franchise terms are met. The franchisor cannot establish or grant another franchise in the territory unless conditions like minimum sales quotas are unmet.

The franchisor may adjust territory boundaries if business density exceeds set thresholds. While exclusivity is provided for SpeedPro Studios, the franchisor retains the right to operate other business models outside the SpeedPro trademark.
