The franchisor offers a comprehensive initial training program for the franchisee and their initial store manager, ensuring they are fully prepared to operate a Relax The Back Store. This training must be satisfactorily completed before the store begins operations. Additionally, any subsequent managers and supervisory personnel are required to successfully complete this training program prior to assuming their roles in managing the store.
Training sessions are scheduled by the franchisor and may include both in-person and virtual components. The cost of this training is included in the initial franchise fee. However, the franchisee is responsible for any associated expenses such as travel, lodging, meals, and incidental costs. The franchisor may also mandate additional training sessions or conventions, which may incur an additional fee.
As part of ongoing support, the franchisor may provide annual training sessions either at the franchisee’s store or virtually. These sessions are designed to ensure the delivery of approved products and adherence to the System's customer service standards. The franchisor reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for training new managers and supervisory personnel unless otherwise specified in writing.
The franchisor does not grant exclusive territory rights to franchisees. As per the franchise agreement, franchisees are not entitled to exclusive territories and may encounter competition from other franchisees, franchisor-owned outlets, or other distribution channels and competitive brands managed by the franchisor.
Nonetheless, franchisees who comply with the Franchise Agreement are granted a protected territory as defined in the agreement. This territory is determined based on geographic, market, population, and other relevant factors, aligned with the franchisor's overall development strategy. The size of this protected territory varies for each franchise and is established by the franchisor.
