Training
Mobility Plus provides comprehensive training programs to ensure franchisees are well-prepared to operate their business effectively. The training includes:
- Initial Training Program: This program is mandatory for the franchisee’s Principal Executive, conducted online via platforms like Microsoft Teams. It covers a mix of instructional materials, including the Operations Manual, lectures, demonstrations, and practice sessions. The training is facilitated by experienced personnel like Robert Landolfi, who has significant industry experience.
- Pre-Opening Training: This training is provided at no additional fee for first-time franchisees. It is tailored to prepare the franchisee for the business launch, encompassing operational standards and systems.
- Optional On-Site Training: For an additional fee, franchisees can request on-site training or opening assistance. This includes guidance directly at the franchisee’s location and is provided at a daily rate along with coverage of travel expenses for the trainer.
- Designated Manager Training: If a franchisee sends a Designated Manager for training after the business has opened, a fee of $5,000 is applicable. This ensures key personnel are equipped with necessary operational knowledge.
- Continuous Training and Conferences: Mobility Plus may require franchisees to attend conferences or additional training programs to stay updated on new operational standards, products, and services.
Territory Protection
Mobility Plus provides territory protection by assigning a defined area, typically 0.5 to 3 miles around the franchise location, considering geographical and demographic factors.
The franchisor agrees not to establish or license competing outlets within the territory as long as the franchisee complies with the agreement.
However, the protection is not fully exclusive, as Mobility Plus may serve customers in the territory if the franchisee cannot meet demand or violates the agreement. Franchisees are also granted a Designated Marketing Area, which may overlap with other operational channels.
