LearningRx: Revolutionizing Cognitive Enhancement Through Brain Training

Established in 2002 by Dr. Ken Gibson in Colorado Springs, Colorado, LearningRx is a pioneering franchise specializing in cognitive skills training. With over 35 years of research and development, the company offers programs designed to enhance learning and performance for individuals of all ages.

LearningRx's headquarters remain in Colorado Springs, reflecting its commitment to its roots. The franchise began expanding its reach in 2003, opening 27 centers within its first year of franchising. LearningRx's programs focus on improving cognitive abilities such as memory, attention, processing speed, and reasoning skills.

Unlike traditional tutoring services, LearningRx emphasizes one-on-one brain training to address the underlying cognitive skills that facilitate learning, rather than re-teaching academic content.

What sets LearningRx apart is its personalized approach to cognitive enhancement. By tailoring programs to individual needs and employing a one-on-one training methodology, the franchise has garnered numerous accolades, including being named a Top Education Franchise by Franchise Business Review in 2022.

Territory Protection

LearningRx grants franchisees a defined territory where no other LearningRx Center will be established, provided the franchisee meets revenue targets and complies with the agreement. However, this territory is non-exclusive, allowing the franchisor to operate or grant rights outside it or through alternative channels.

The franchisor may also permit pre-existing licensees to continue offering related services within the territory, and alternative marketing or service channels may create indirect competition. This ensures operational flexibility for the franchisor while providing limited territorial protection to the franchisee.
