Training

Initial Franchisee Training Program

This essential program is required for the franchisee and up to two additional individuals, which may include Owners, Head/Lead Trainer, Operations Manager, or other key personnel. Training should be completed no earlier than the franchisee's lease signing date. For those taking over an existing Burn Boot Camp location, the program must be finished within 90 days following the effective date of the consent to transfer document.

Comprehensive Training Sessions

The franchise offers an extensive training program over several days, covering the following topics:

  • Understanding Protocol Training and Camps Focus Meetings: 6 hours of training at the Headquarters or a Burn Approved Education Hub.
  • Training Camps and Specialty Members Systems Training: 6 hours of training at the Headquarters or a Burn Approved Education Hub.
  • Perfecting the Trainer, Building Culture in the Gym, Marketing in the Gym: 6 hours of training at the Headquarters or a Burn Approved Education Hub.

Replacement Training

Any individual appointed by the franchisee to replace a previously trained Owner, Operations Manager, or Head/Lead Trainer must attend and successfully complete the relevant education program within 30 to 90 days of starting their role. The franchisee bears the cost of this training.

Additional or Advanced Education

Additional fees may apply for advanced education beyond the Initial Franchise Fee, which covers the initial training program for up to three individuals. For example, Burn Boot Camp may charge for extra training sessions such as "Burn U," with fees being the lesser of $150 per hour or $300 per day per team member.

Territory Protection

Burn Boot Camp provides territory protection to its franchisees, ensuring a certain level of market security within their designated areas. This protection is designed to help franchisees establish and grow their businesses without the immediate threat of another Burn Boot Camp opening nearby. It allows franchisees to build a loyal customer base and focus on delivering high-quality services without concerns about internal competition from new franchise locations.

However, it's important to note that Burn Boot Camp does not offer exclusive territories. This means that while franchisees have some degree of protection, they may still face competition from other Burn Boot Camp franchisees in adjacent areas. The presence of nearby franchises can lead to overlapping marketing efforts and shared customer demographics, requiring franchisees to be strategic and proactive in their business operations.
