Training

Transworld provides a comprehensive training structure to ensure franchisees and their staff are equipped to operate successfully. The training programs offered by the franchisor include:

  1. Initial Training Program: Conducted at Transworld's Training Center in Florida, this five-day program is designed for you or your initial manager. The training may also be offered remotely at the franchisor’s discretion. The initial franchise fee covers this for one person, including transportation, accommodations, and one meal per day.
  2. Onsite Training Support: A corporate representative will be sent to your location within 180 days of signing the agreement for a four-day onsite training. This covers operational support, business launch assistance, and marketing guidance.
  3. Online Training Option: As an alternative or supplement to the in-person training, an online training course is available for employees or agents. This is optional and carries a separate fee.
  4. Mandatory Training for Commission-Based Agents: Any new employee or agent compensated through commission must complete the five-day training program within 60 days of hiring. This applies whether they attend in-person or complete the online version.
  5. Continuing Education and Refresher Training: Transworld reserves the right to require attendance at additional training courses during the franchise term. These can be for updates to business techniques or to ensure consistency across franchises.

Territory Protection

Transworld grants its franchisees the right to operate within a clearly defined Designated Marketing Area (DMA). This territory includes a minimum of 8,000 registered businesses, and franchisees are expected to confine their business activities—such as meetings, marketing, and sales efforts—within this territory.

While franchisees may accept unsolicited clients from outside the DMA, they are restricted from actively marketing or promoting services beyond it.

Territorial protection in Transworld is conditional rather than absolute. To maintain exclusivity, a franchisee must meet performance benchmarks including a minimum number of sales and revenue thresholds annually. If these conditions are not met—such as failing to complete a sale within an 18-month period or falling short of revenue goals—the franchisor may revoke territorial exclusivity.
