Founded in 1990, KidzArt has been at the forefront of creative education, offering art programs designed to build self-confidence through self-expression. The company began franchising in 2002, expanding its reach across the United States and internationally.
KidzArt is headquartered in Michigan, where it continues to develop innovative art curricula that empower children and adults alike through the arts. KidzArt offers a wide range of art education programs for all ages, from preschoolers to adults. These include after-school classes, summer camps, workshops, birthday parties, and special events.
The brand features unique offerings like "Squiggles to Grins™" for toddlers, "TeenzArt™" for teenagers, and "Palette Up!" for adult learners. Each program is thoughtfully designed to suit different developmental stages and learning styles, ensuring an inclusive and engaging experience for every participant.
What truly sets KidzArt apart from other art education franchises is its proven curriculum, which has been refined over more than 30 years and used by millions of students worldwide. The program is centered on building creativity and confidence, encouraging students to explore their artistic abilities in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

KidzArt provides a comprehensive training program to its franchisees, ensuring that both operational and instructional aspects of the business are effectively delivered. The training includes the following components:
KidzArt grants franchisees an exclusive territory—either a “Teach” (15,000 qualifying households) or “Teach Plus” (30,000 qualifying households) area—where only they may offer KidzArt programs, as long as they meet performance requirements.
However, the franchisor retains rights to operate or license other businesses under different marks, sell through alternative channels (like online or retail), and fulfill national contracts within the territory if the franchisee does not comply. Thus, while the territory is exclusive in principle, it includes important limitations.
