Jinya Ramen Bar, renowned for its authentic and expertly crafted Japanese ramen, has cemented its position as a leader in the ramen restaurant industry. The franchise's journey began in 2010 with its inaugural U.S. location in Los Angeles' Studio City neighborhood. By 2012, Jinya Ramen Bar started franchising and quickly gained popularity, thanks to the city's trendy and relaxed atmosphere.

The franchise stands out due to its dedication to high-quality ingredients and flavors. Its diverse menu features slow-simmered broths prepared in-house over 10 hours, noodles aged for three days, and over 20 toppings across 13 signature bowls. To cater to various preferences, they also offer small plates, tapas, salads, and rice and curry bowls.

Jinya Ramen Bar's mission is to elevate and educate guests about the richness of ramen cuisine, ensuring a remarkable dining experience. They uphold core values such as authenticity, creativity, hospitality, integrity, and teamwork, aiming to build trust and community through warm and friendly service. The franchise's approach to franchising is inclusive, involving franchisees in decision-making and providing support through a franchise business council.

Offering multiple restaurant styles, including full-service Jinya Ramen Bar, Jinya Ramen Express, and Bushi by Jinya, the franchise adapts to different market needs, from urban centers to airports and college campuses. This strategic growth approach, combined with a commitment to quality and community, makes Jinya Ramen Bar a distinctive and attractive franchise opportunity in the culinary world.

Training

Jinya Ramen Bar offers an extensive training program for its franchisees, covering all essential aspects needed for successful franchise operations. The training encompasses the following components:

Initial Training Program The initial training is tailored for up to four individuals, including the Principal Owner, General Manager, Kitchen Manager, Assistant Kitchen Manager, or other designated managerial staff. The franchisor reserves the right to modify this program at any time without prior notice.

Initial Training Program Refresher If the initial training is completed more than 40 days before the start of the Grand Opening Support, all managers must attend a mandatory refresher training lasting at least five days.

Grand Opening Support Around the time of the franchise opening, the franchisor may provide on-site training and support. The specifics, such as duration and representatives involved, are determined by the franchisor.

Additional Initial Training Programs The franchisor may require franchisees to send managers to additional Initial Training Programs for new or replacement managerial personnel or for any previously trained manager needing retraining. The franchisee is responsible for the current Post-Opening Additional Training Daily Fee for each representative from the franchisor providing this training, as well as all related expenses, including transportation, food, and lodging.

Territory Protection

Jinya Ramen Bar offers a form of territory protection for its franchisees. Upon acceptance and specification of a franchisee's location in the Franchise Agreement, a Protected Territory is assigned around the Jinya Ramen Bar. This territory typically includes an area of about three blocks in an urban setting and a radius of two miles in other areas, although the exact boundaries may vary based on market characteristics and the specific location.

The franchisee is granted the right to operate their Jinya Ramen Bar within this Protected Territory, with the franchisor agreeing not to own, operate, sell, or issue a franchise for any other standard Jinya Ramen Bar within this territory during the initial term, provided the franchisee remains compliant with the agreement.

However, it is important to understand that the franchisee's territory is not exclusive. The license granted is nonexclusive, and apart from the specified protections, franchisees do not have territorial or protective rights beyond the agreed parameters.
