They use only the freshest ingredients, such as Butterball turkeys that are slow-roasted daily, and feature American Wagyu beef in many of their sandwiches. This thorough program addresses a broad spectrum of subjects, including sales strategies, product knowledge, accounting practices, food preparation, and operational management.

Required Attendees

A minimum of two individuals, including the Franchisee’s Managing Owner, must complete the entire Capriotti’s training program. Additionally, two other staff members are required to participate in a training program designed for hourly team members.

Training Location and Duration

Training is conducted at Capriotti’s headquarters or other specified locations and includes unpaid practical training at an approved training restaurant. The training sessions may be segmented, and all designated attendees must complete each part of the program.

Continuous Training

Capriotti’s might mandate that the franchisee's Managing Owner and other key managerial staff engage in an intensive on-site training program at the restaurant for up to six weeks post-opening.

Training Costs

Capriotti’s covers the direct expenses of training, including instructors, manuals, and classroom facilities. However, the franchisee is responsible for all related indirect costs.

Territory Protection

Single-unit franchisees are not granted exclusive territories. They may encounter competition from other franchisees, franchisor-owned outlets, or other distribution channels and competitive brands controlled by the franchisor.

No territorial protection is provided, and the franchisor, along with its affiliates, reserves all rights regarding CAPRIOTTI’S Restaurants and any other activities they consider appropriate, irrespective of the competitive impact on the franchisee's restaurant.

For franchisees entering into a Development Rights Agreement (DRA) with a commitment to establish three or more CAPRIOTTI’S Restaurants, the designated Territory will be determined based on various factors such as radius, zip code boundaries, county boundaries, and other criteria deemed appropriate by the franchisor.
