Amazing Athletes is a U.S.-based educational fitness franchise that aids children's development in six key motor skills by introducing them to the basics of ten different sports.

The franchise provides physical fitness programs and sports activities for children under 12, aiming to empower them by harnessing their inner strengths and capabilities.

Founded in 2002 by Glen and Janee Henderson, Amazing Athletes strives to help children lead healthier, more confident, and happier lives. The company is headquartered in New York.

Since it started franchising in 2006, Amazing Athletes has grown to over 145 studios, with more than 122 franchises across the United States.

Training 

Training may take place at a location designated by the franchisor or, if preferred, can be conducted through online webinars, live streaming, or other electronic methods. The training for all programs spans approximately six days, including around 27.5 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of on-the-job training.

Training Breakdown for the Basic Package

• Kickoff/Day 1: This day covers topics such as the Mission Statement, Competition, Industry Overview, and Demonstrations. It includes seven hours of classroom instruction and two hours of on-the-job training.
• Day 2: The focus is on Curricula training, where franchisees learn field movements and techniques for interacting with children.

Additional Training for the AA Complete Program

Franchisees who opt for the AA Complete Program will receive an additional training day:

• Day 6: This day provides further Curricula training, with two hours of classroom instruction and two hours of on-the-job training.

Territory Protection

Amazing Athletes offers territory protection to its franchisees, granting them exclusive rights to operate within their assigned territory. This ensures that no other franchisee will compete within the same area, allowing franchisees to build their business without overlapping markets. The protected territory is clearly defined in the franchise agreement, providing peace of mind and a solid foundation for growth.
